Out Of Office Garage (OOOG), a new country club in Birmingham, has opened a members-only auto enthusiast club located at 2400 Cole St.
“Our car community has been asking for a club like this for years, so we put our passion and expertise into ensuring Out Of Office Garage delivered a curated, one-of-a-kind experience for our members,” says Syed Ahmed, OOOG founder. “We’re excited to open our (garage) door here in Michigan and look forward to expanding in the future.”
The club features a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled warehouse with a member’s lounge, vehicle storage, and private event space, as well as exclusive access to invite-only events, from guided enthusiast drives and all-inclusive race weekends to auto industry vehicle previews, all curated by the OOOG concierge team.
The new venture is the brainchild of Erica and Syed Ahmed, the husband-and-wife team behind Platinum Motor Cars, a luxury and exotic car dealership also located in Birmingham.
With a design conceived by Christopher Burcham of Detroit-based BLDG001, Out Of Office Garage features a 2,500-square-foot lounge with professional-grade SimRacing simulators, a full-service coffee bar and kitchen, and a business center with multiple workspaces.
The 16,000-square-foot attached storage facility features 28 custom-built, multi-tier auto lifts to house 80+ member vehicles, on-site wash and detail services available five days a week, and a mezzanine with additional meeting and lounge space.

Out Of Office Garage offers multiple membership levels, including one for general club access and a Founders level membership, offering Founders level-only events, experiences and more. Membership is by approval-only and subject to OOOG membership committee approval.
