A storage facility where people will be able to store vehicles for as long as they want has opened in Chubbuck, a town located in the Pocatello metropolitan area of Idaho.
Angie Sistrunk, one of the owners of JAW RV, Boat & Vehicle Storage, said it is something she has been interested in starting for a long time. “It’s a needed service in Pocatello,” Sistrunk said. “We found an opportunity to offer it, and we took it.”
In the past, Sistrunk and her husband have allowed people to store vehicles at their home, but they had to stop doing that after they ran into problems with the city. “We couldn’t have them stored at our house,” Sistrunk said.
JAW RV, Boat & Vehicle Storage offers outdoor, uncovered storage right now. They also offer commercial storage for any businesses that don’t have room for their vehicles. “We could house whatever someone wanted to store,” Sistrunk said.
The storage is also available to people as long as they need it, whether they just need to store something for the winter or they have a vehicle that they don’t have room for at home.
“It’s available to them 24 hours a day,” Sistrunk said. “It’s for anything. If people have vehicles that don’t run and don’t have a place to park. Whatever they need.”
There was a ribbon cutting at the business in November. Sistrunk is hoping to get the word out about the facility and the services that it offers. “We’re going into winter, and it should be the prime time,” Sistrunk said. “We’re new and getting out there.”
Sistrunk looks forward to helping people find a place to store their vehicles for however long they need. “I look forward to providing a much needed service to the community and working with customers,” Sistrunk said.
