The RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) report on January shipments indicates the number of RV units increased to 27,695, which is a 21.9% bump compared with 22,674 units shipped in January 2024.
Toy Storage Nation continuously follows RVIA reports on shipments because the data are widely used by RV storage operators and investors as a means to predict future growth in the storage industry. In a nutshell: The numbers reveal more RVs are entering the market, increasing the need for more RV storage.
The report also reveals where the units were delivered, by state.
“January’s shipment numbers reflect the continued, steady growth we anticipated for the RV industry as we begin 2025. While we remain cautiously optimistic, these early indicators are encouraging and suggest the enduring appeal of the RV lifestyle,” said RV Industry Association President & CEO Craig Kirby.
“We look forward to building on this momentum throughout the year, delivering innovative products to consumers that reveal the incredible destinations and memorable experiences that are just beyond your door in an RV,” Kirby added.
