Results for the RV Industry Association’s June 2025 survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments ended the month with 29,332 units, a 15.9 growth rate compared to the 25,308 units shipped in June 2024. To date, RV shipments are up 6.8% with 190,705 units.
As more RVs enter the marketplace and are purchased by consumers, the need to have professionally operated storage facilities to keep them safe rises. Yet, Toy Storage Nation has conducted research that indicates the current supply of storage space for RVs falls far short of need. In fact, five times the current number of storage spaces/units is needed to meet the ever-growing need.
“This past month new 2026 model year units started arriving on dealer lots as manufacturers and suppliers continue to innovate and improve RVs to meet the needs and preferences of today’s RVers at every price point,” said RV Industry Association President & CEO Craig Kirby. “With owners using their RVs more than ever before, the RV lifestyle continues to bring joy and adventure to millions of families, friends, and solo travelers this summer.”
Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month up 15.3% from last June with 26,532 shipments. Motorhomes finished the month up 22.4% compared to the same month last year with 2,800 units.
Park Model RVs finished May up 2.4% compared to the same month last year, with 345 wholesale shipments.
