Results for the RV Industry Association’s August 2025 survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments ended the month with 28,212 units, a (-3.1%) growth rate compared to the 29,105 units shipped in August 2024. To date, RV shipments are up 4.2% with 241,550 units.
Toy Storage Nation tracks shipments of RVs to determine incoming inventory that indicates an ongoing need for future RV/boat storage development. Research shows that the amount of RVs and boats entering the market creates a wider gap between vehicle ownership and professional storage space to house them, especially at a time when more and more HOAs restrict oversized rigs from being parked on personal property.

Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month down (-4.6%) from last August with 25,030 shipments. Motorhomes finished the month up 11.3% compared to the same month last year with 3,182 units.
Park Model RVs finished August up 33.8% compared to the same month last year, with 400 wholesale shipments.
