Toy Storage Nation (TSN) extends gratitude to all attendees, speakers and sponsors who contributed to the success of the RV & Boat Storage Workshop hosted Dec. 5, 2025, in
Naples, Fla. The meeting of great minds explored many versions of achieving success in the ever-evolving self-storage industry, which continues to shapeshift to meet consumer demand.
To that end, in addition to an agenda packed with sessions educating attendees on the A to Z of developing, operating and investing profitably in RV and boat storage, this workshop packed in bonus tracks of flex space, truck parking and marinas.
“Thirty-some years ago, self-storage was a brand new concept and developers couldn’t build fast enough,” says TSN Founder Troy Bix, who launched Inside Self-Storage magazine three decades ago along with the institution’s widely popular conferences. “Today, self-storage is abundant, but storage-like assets with huge profiting potential are emerging in the periphery, so Toy Storage Nation has broadened its range to help today’s entrepreneurs meet consumer demands head on.”
“Our followers have diverse interests, so we are doing our part to stay ahead of the curve as the storage marketplace is redefined,” says TSN President Amy Bix.“TSN offers today’s entrepreneurs a montage of storage solutions, so they can customize their projects to meet consumer storage needs, wherever they are located, whether it be someone in traditional self-storage adding on RV and
boat storage, or an RV storage developer incorporating flex space and truck parking while researching possibilities in marina storage.”
Naples Workshop attendees learned the fundamentals of RV/boat storage from a wide range of experts, including investing guru Devin Beasley of Cushman & Wakefield, feasibility pro Jo Beth White of Development Services Inc., development/operations powerhouse
Greg Ellsworth of Self Storage Consulting Group, enclosed construction expert Cristian Batres of MakoRabco, security tech specialist Cody Anderson of Noke/Janus International, marketing virtuoso Steve Lucas of The Storage Group, insurance pro Nathanial Trone of SBOA/Alchemy Insurance and financing master Bishesh Shrestha of Live Oak Bank.
In addition, they engaged in presentations on flex space with Bryan Hargett of Paramount System; marina storage with Andy Hayes of Go Outdoors/Safe Harbor Development; and truck parking with Andrew Jones of Truck Parking Club.

A traditional workshop highlight is a guided trip with Baja Construction to a nearby RV/boat storage facility. Naples attendees visited The Hideout Storage Park under the direction of Mark Dirato and Aric Nissen of Baja, along with a thorough question-and-answer session with facility owner Keith Basik.
Storage entrepreneurs can expect the Las Vegas Workshop to follow suit with a lineup of presentations focused on RV and boat storage, complemented by sessions in flex space, truck parking and marinas.
The TSN Storage Redefined Master Class is hosted in partnership with Inside Self-Storage and is slated for April 10, at the end of the annual ISS Expo in Las Vegas. More details and registration information is coming soon.
