SuppressAll, a Chicago-based fire protection manufacturer, is introducing an aerosol fire suppression solution designed for RV and boat storage facilities, where traditional water-based fire suppression systems can cause significant secondary damage.
Developed with input from fire service professionals, SuppressAll units rapidly release a non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-conductive aerosol agent that interrupts the combustion process and suppresses flames quickly without using water.
“Fires in enclosed spaces can escalate extremely fast,” said Brandon Santiago, a former firefighter and paramedic now working with SuppressAll. “By the time responders arrive, the damage can already be severe — and often the water used to extinguish the fire can cause just as much destruction as the flames.”
SuppressAll systems are available in both manually activated units and automatic heat-activated units designed for enclosed environments such as RV storage buildings, mechanical rooms, electrical panels and vehicle storage areas.
Because the system deploys an aerosol agent rather than water or foam, facilities can suppress fires while minimizing damage to vehicles, property, and stored equipment.
