Colonial RV Event to Showcase Winnebago Accessibility Line

By Travis O. Pryor

Colonial Airstream & RV is hosting its second-annual The Next Adventure Sales event at its huge new facility in Millstone Township, N.J., on Feb. 17-18., during which it will showcase Winnebago’s new line of RVs designed to remedy accessibility issues and eliminate barriers to exploring the great outdoors for more adventurers.

Colonial is one of the top Airstream dealerships in the country, regularly earning the company’s 5-Rivet designation. The dealership also carries Winnebago motorized vehicles and also regularly earns Flying W recognition.

Models from both manufacturers as well as pre-owned models from other OEMs will be on display, but Robert Hensinger, Winnebago and pre-owned sales manager at Colonial, said he is particularly excited to be able to unveil Winnebago’s new Accessibility Enhanced Model Lineup, designed to make travel and camping easier for those with disabilities.

“We’re very proud Winnebago selected us and we’re engaged and passionate about having success from the beginning to provide a product to a large demographic that includes people of all ages and with any disabilities and what their limitations may be this will benefit them,” Hensinger told RVBusiness. “We have them even inside our showroom so we can demonstrate the lifts to get them in and out.”

Specifically, the line includes the Class B Roam, built on a RAM Promaster chassis, and the Class A Inspire, built on a 340-hp Freightliner XCS chassis.

Product representatives will be on hand as well as service advisors to discuss products and maintenance with anyone new to RVing or who just has a question.

“We now have a facility where we can showcase our products we sell and the facility and people who work here by having our own sales events internally, which has been a huge advantage to having a facility like this,” said COO Nick Lenzo.
