Construction of the Bermuda Lakes RV Resort in Fort Myers is underway, with completion expected within a year.
The project, on 5181 Tice St., is being built by Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction.
Situated on 48 acres, Bermuda Lakes, according to a statement, will have six buildings including maintenance, two laundry facilities, guardhouse, compactor and a 14,099-square-foot clubhouse with a commercial kitchen, a gathering hall, a fitness center, storage, offices, a cyber cafe and restrooms to accommodate 152 RV pads. Stevens Construction is also building outdoor amenities, which include a pool, a spa, a gazebo, pickleball and bocce ball courts, and a dock, the release adds.Â
The project is slated for completion in fall 2024.
Stevens Construction additionally provided pre-construction services, such as design team selection, cost-saving suggestions, budgeting, scheduling and permitting. The Stevens Construction team includes Project Manager Mark Pelafas, Superintendent Randy Jacobson and Project Administrator Gina Varner. Design services are provided by PDS Architecture and Banks Engineering.
